Meet Dr. Kristian Hochberg
Carroll County native Kristian Hochberg, M.D., is a vascular surgeon who provides diagnosis, consultation and treatment for patients with vascular disease. He also serves as medical director of the Interventional Vascular Lab at Carroll Hospital Center.
He understands the devastating consequences of vascular disease and is dedicated to offering the best possible care to help patients diagnose the condition early and receive the treatment they need to manage the disease and extend their lives.
Dr. Hochberg specializes in the treatment of peripheral artery disease (PAD), complex open surgery and minimally invasive endovascular procedures, including ultrasound-guided pseudoaneurysm repair and endovascular stent graft repair. He is the only specialist in the area who performs ultrasound-guided thrombin injection.
For those seeking help with chronic wounds, Dr. Hochberg is certified to treat wounds using hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), a medical treatment that uses pure oxygen to enhance the body's natural ability to heal.
In addition, Dr. Hochberg performs the VNUS Closure® procedure for the treatment of varicose veins and conducts stroke and PAD screenings.
